A pair of Georgian antique leather fire buckets, with beaded metal mounts. These leather fire buckets are superb examples, well-aged with all of the patina and old scuffs and dents from over a century of use, they are a true piece of history.
With a unique appearance, these Georgian leather fire buckets have incredible character. The bodies are structurally sound with no tears or splits. Made from hardened leather, they are also still very robust and suited to both decoration and functional use.
One of the buckets has seen a significant distortion to its shape over time, adding to its character. The other has seen the leather handle split towards the middle. Both show signs of age such as superficial scratches, scuffs and dents to the body, with some peeling to the handles also. Such imperfections are to be expected with leather goods of this age and aesthetically, these items certainly benefit from them.
